What is everyone doing tonight?

Finally decided on Hove cricket ground. Few bevvies, warm fleece and lots of pretty displays.

Yep - Shoreham beach for me !! followed by a few fizzy drinks in the Duke - for some live music and entertainment...

I think the display starts at 1930 and is on for 45mins.

I shall be going to the free display at Soldiers Field in Leodis. As luck would have it there are a few pubs between there and my flat.

Sitting in my living room watching the free display on the opposite side of the hill from Black Cat Fireworks (used to be called Standard Fireworks) that are manufactured in Huddersfield.

I see them being tested during the day throughout the year but their display for the workers and families is great.

I hope the Sussex ones are all a lovely hue of blue and white - do they make stripey fireworks yet??

I have just been doing some work for the boss with the Institute of Physics and on their website it says that had Guy Fawkes succeeded, he wouldn't have just destroyed the Palace of Westminster but everything for a third of a mile away including Westminster Abbey.

I will be in the Kings Head, Fishersgate, taking full advantage of the free pool table whilst downing several pints of wife-beater.

Depending on my mood, I will then go back to catch some of the football, or to watch "2 Fast 2 Furious".
