Give it a t-cut and hope the damage isn't to deep into the paint. Normally its just surface so you should get away with it !!

I've never used t-cut. Is it an easy job or am I best off leaving weel alone. I don't think the damage is THAT bad.

Its just like polishing any thing else, its EASY, give it a go, thing is you may have to do the whole car, may take you a while but it will look a million dollars !!

I've just spent an hour waxing the damn thing! My fingers are still green! You're telling me I've got to do the whole car?!?!?!

Can't I just do the bonnet which is the only area AFFECTed?

In my computer
t-cut is the best - got rid of the Shoreham seagull shit stain on my Midget... but redland is right - since t-cut removes the top layer of colour to reveal a sparkly new layer you'll probably have to do most of the related panels to the affected one - which is in reality the entire car....I'm lucky my car is tiny!!

Oh well I'll give it a go. The rest of the car is pretty damn shinny anyway so I'll see how I get on. If it looks stupid I'll have to do the whole car. Thanks peeps!

make sure you wax after T-cut as it leaves the paint unproteced (effectivley taking off a very thin layer of paint)

then you'll have a nice shiny waxed bonnet
