I work in a Bristol IT company that also has an Edinburgh office. We use 'Rhymbox' as our messaging tool - which allow avatars alongside your 'contact'.
Now, The Edinburgh 'contacts' are, strangely enough, predominantly Scottish. It is noticeable that whenever England play a football match the Scottish colleagues will change their avatar and fly the flag of the opposing nation.
Tonight we have the battle of Britain. In these circumstances is it 'acceptable' to sport the Man Utd crest as my avatar?
I thought not.
