Depends on your price range. If you can live with CRAP after-sales service, Sony's have indesctructable hardware and generally come loaded with software - expensive software at that.

If you're not willing to spend that kind of cash, Dell.

I think last time we did this thread we found that the Sony Vaio was the NSC'ers laptop of choice

Oh, if you're MINTED, get a Thinkpad. They'll last an eternity.

IBM - if you're minted.

If not, all the standard brands are pretty much the same. You get what you pay for.

That is unless it's Sony, in which case you'll pay a small premium.

I've not got a CLUE how to fix your problem, I'd suggest you try using a different browser first, also check your system for spyware.
