cm4 network play

has anyone ever played online , is it easy to set up ,is it any good ?

Very good online, easy to set up once got IP address

I've heard its abit dodgy but theres a new CM4 03/04 coming out next month which fixes issues, I'll certainly be up for an NSC CM league, could give it a go with CM4 for now to see if it works, you'll need EP#5 though.

are games saved locally Decafe or to a server somewhere? could we set up our own NSC league easily enough?

what version are you playing on line for it not to crash, as the longest i played on-line was about 3 games, and once it crashed could not get back on no matter what we tried!!!!!

you should have the EP#5 update with full Data update for the game to work its best whether on or offline

I've played it loads online and it's great.

However everyone must have the same version. So CM4 with the latest enhancement pack.

If anyone on here wants to have a game it would certainly be a laugh if we could all find a time when we're free to play.

The main problem is that it takes ages unless everyone is prepared to play quickly (i.e. not scoure the transfer lists, just get on with it)

Locally to the servers (a person in the game) hard drive. It is only any good if you have bb otherwise it is very slow with long waiting times

I am up for it after 8 - will have to CAFC though
