This weekend has shown that we are capable of staying up. it will be tough and we are not going to be winning 6 in a row or anything like it.

What we have hopefully learnt is that we have the desire and players who shuold do enough to stay up.

However, we will go on another poor run of results and the secret is to back the boys and the management. Do not turn on them or give any credit to the Mcghee out idiots.

Belief and patience will see us through and I for one believe that Mcghee knows exactly what he is doing.

I also think that we should try and think ahead. If he does keep us mid-table with what we have, then other clubs will have a look at him. In that case lets us all let him know every game how much we want him here.

The future is bright. The future is Blue and white.

Seven points each calendar month would be enough for us to stay up easily. The August target has been achieved!

Im looking on Monday as a complete bonus, there are about 8 teams in this division that u would expect to beat us home and away, Leicster being one of them, so the 3 points against them is a massive boost, as long as we keep winning and drawing with the bottom sides then we have a good chance this year. Mcghee knows what he's doing, if he can add a little bit more experience, and keep us playing more football (as he said he's trying to do) things could look better this year!

Yes yes yes. Quite right, don't get carried away, only two wins in a row, still not scoring enough goals, could get more injureies, mid-table would be a fantastic achievement, etc etc etc. Totally agree. So who do you want first game next season? I fancy Man U away.

I think we really need to hope that we get Arsenal away early on before they really get going. The most important thing ias like this season, we need to pick up points from the other sides around us.

Everton at home, Spurs at home etc.....we must not judge the players if we go to Highbury, Stamfor dBridge and get nothing.

Now the main thing will be in the close season who we can pick up wages wise.

Will be a shock for Man Ure, etc coming to the Withdean.

Good chance we'll get a Premiershite club in the cup - it's not often we reach the third round!

Probably best to get a few of the other shite teams at home early on and pick up some points to build confidence - a la Portsmouth last season - then we may suprise a few, Liverpool for one. A hammering by Arsenal early on won't do us any good.

It really depends in my opinion how we go about getting players in now. I see that we are linked to Inzaghi and Oewn, who never really settled at Real, as well as the usual suspects.

I think we agree Shearer was worth what we paid for him, and although clearly he is not management material I think he will do a good job under Mcghee.

With the emergence of Hammond as regular Englan player and Virgo and Hinsh showing they are Premier quality it is now a matter of adding to that.

I believe that 43 points would keep us up and if Shearer and Knight stay fit I think we will eb ok.

Cannot wait for this season to start.

When I look at our fixture list, I can see nothing but easy games in the months ahead. Hard to see us losing again now that our defence has settled, our midfield are knocking the ball around and we have an old fashioned centre forward banging in the goals. I think we can do better than mid-table this season.
