Yesterday whilst at the Dentist,I bumped into Jez who in the eighties I used to stand with at the Goldstone. We started to talk about the other guys that we used to stand with and thought it would be good to meet up again. So am looking for the two Micks, one used to work for Ammerican Express, one was a teacher,Pete Martin, Ian ,his brother, and others whose names escape me.So can you help,do you recognise this group. We used to draw cards one to eleven, and then if you had the goal scorer that matched your card number you got 50 p from everyone else. Ring a bell-------anyone.

Mark, great to see you again yesterday, i`ll ask dad if hes got pete martins number and you never know, pete might know where either mick`s are. log on to my profile on here and leave me your email or mobile, been kicking myself i didnt ask you yesterday.

Meant to tell you that I still pay homage to Pete Martin at every home game, by way of, as the team comes out I shout out "Come on, you shower!" just like he used to.

North west terrace was everything that was good in football. True wit, giving thr linesman, other sides players and most of all our own players witty stick to bring them all down to earth. No plastic seat or a stward in sight. Must be horrible fo kids who dont remember when footbal was funny, win lose or draw

the bits i remember about the NW terrace are the surprisingly good view; there always being space under the floodlight; the close proximity to the NS toilets; and the strange crush barrier/railings arrangements at the front.
