Pot, kettle, black?

Erm...did you just make those number up in your head? Pakistan have around 250, the same as India.

The Russians have over 15000 still in commission and the UK has around 600.

Anyway, that all irrelevant...the reason why everyone is worrying about DPRK is because they are the only country with a regime insane enough to use them.

p.s. it's a myth to scare other countries in the Middle East that Israel has nukes.

Seem to upset a fair few with their latest nuclear test, however what is their motive behind these tests ? Even their so-called friends the Chinese seem to be getting twitchy ? They cannot for one moment really believe that they could strike at the USA ?:facepalm:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-21429544

Their missiles could be within striking distance of the Mariana Islands , Guam in the south is a US territory while in the north , islands including Saipan are a commonwealth of the USA

Not Luton! Thank God
This is all about the NK leadership engaging in activity that seeks attention. In their country they have constant attention and adulation.

They want the same from the international community and to do that they need to pose a threat.

There are probably gunn ho generals that believe the propaganda that want to fire the missile with a nuke, but it would mean almost certain death and I think the leaders know that.

I would say that their actions are perfectly rational from the perspective of a small country/ dictatorship holding on to a disputed territory in an anarchic international system, with the military and nuclear might of China on one boarder and on the other boarder the old enemy South Korea (which is under the US military and nuclear umbrella). You have two choices you either bend over and get your arse spanked or you seek to protect yourself in some way.

They will be using the test mainly as a barganing tool, to bring people to the table and get some concessions. There is not much more the US 'et al' can do in terms of sanctions and they cant engage them militarily so they will come to the table and it will no doubt have the desired effect.
