Sunday Times Motoring section today, your Lewes MP has got a column (make sure you declare the £ Norm) in which he is extolling the advantages of cycling. Good Green stuff you'd think from the DumLibs Transport spokesman.
I can't quote coz I've chucked it out, but in part of it he says along the lines of
I decided to try cycling to the Commons and asked if I could claim the cost of a bicycle, thinking this would be a good idea because of the money it would save, but no it was rejected. (then followed by a bit of smugness about his low claims)
Do you know what you smug twat? when I wanted a new bike, I had to use my salary to buy it. Work it out you dickhead, the first thing the rest of us think about is NOT "who can I get to pay for this?"
