went to see hornchurch vs thurrock last night nationwide south ...was suprised to see paul mcarthy playing for hornchurch ..also had fat darren caskey as well and also simon wormull who i believed played for us briefly in 1998...standard wernt that brill but facilities were pretty good.
what surprised me the most was the fact that hornchurch are full time and they are paying approx 1100/ 1200 quid a week per player in wages..absurd amount at that level of footie ...spoke openly with some of their officials who admit that promotion to the conference has to be a must .....they lost 1-0 !!
