According to the Non League Paper tody the Conference are pushing for 3 up 3 down from the 3rd for next season. They reckon they have a pretty good chance.

The confrence is no longer that place where all ex league clubs go to die in fact it is better run and attracts more crowds than the third.

Plus the ex league teams get a parachute payment.

life is good in the confrence change ends at half time low police presence and and no crowd trouble

Althought that will change now crawley are in there

You have only to lookj at at the 4 teams in the play-offs(all ex league teams to realise that once relegated to the Conference does not mean the end.

I seem to remember the majority of the home supporters at Port Vale moving to the end of the pitch they were attacking in the second half, perhaps it's just that they aspire to the Conference.

Had a quick look at the link, it's about as clear as mud, anyone know offhand how it will affect teams from Sussex, will anyone end up in the Conference South?
