Simoen Jackson will not be joining Albion on loan, accroding to Norwich boss Chris Hughton.
* Albion's attempts to land striker Simeon Jackson on loan from Norwich before today's 5pm deadline have been thwarted.
* Norwich boss Chris Hughton said at his lunchtime press conference at Carrow Road that nobody will be leaving the Premier League side, including Jackson.
* A Norwich source told The Argus yesterday a deal was "very likely" but Albion coach Charlie Oatway cast doubt about the deal going ahead this morning.
* The Canaries are still not safe from relegation and Hughton does not want to be left facing a striker shortage near the end of the season.
