Would he be good for us ?

Hull chairman Adam Pearson says the club could make a move to sign Nick Barmby - but not if it breaks the wage structure at the KC Stadium outfit.
Barmby, 30, had his contract at Leeds terminated and is available on a free.

"We understand Nicky is interested in coming to play for Hull City," Pearson told the Yorkshire Post.

"We are not prepared, however, to break the current level of pay. We are strict on that point so we will need to see what can be done."

He added: "Nicky being handed a free transfer at Leeds is certainly an interesting development and we owe it to ourselves and our supporters to investigate any options open to us.

"We will be keeping an eye on developments

Nope he's always flattered to deceive and I don't think he'd find a wet day at Withdean in mid January to his liking. Not our type of player at all imo

He probably would be good for us. But there are a couple of things that would prevent him from coming to Brighton.

a) We couldn't afford him
b) Hull is actually his home town
c) Given the choice - nice big new stadium, or poxy converted athletics track?!?

Bit of a no brainer really
