Preston Drove is a bit of a pain but I know Choice Cuts is decent.

Might just use wassisface on Islingword.

Mate owns M&B meats in London Road, used to be Dewhurst years ago before he bought it, couple of doors away from what used to be Woolworths.

Another vote for M&B meats (almost opposite the open market)

Also there is soon to be a new butchers opening on Lewes road almost opposite where the Tesco was planned to be.

I would have said the 'Grill On The Alley' restaurant in Chicago but maybe a little too far.

Another vote for Bramptons, if you want a great steak you'll need to travel to Kemp Town.

M&B often do a good deal on steaks too, never been dissapointed.

The 'Albion' butcher is the one by the entrace to the Open Market.

Anyone remember Leeson's from the old market day's? Les had a few shops in Brighton & Eastbourne and I remember his Son, Harry and also daughter, Sue. Not only a beautiful girl but a lovely person too.

I purchased my dinner from here last night. It's called CLARKS
The butcher was really friendly, I was having bangers and mash for dinner

I bought two "Brighton Bangers", two "traditional pork," two "garlic and parsley" and 3 chipolatas.

Came in at £4.40

All the sausages are much larger than supermarket ones and have at least 80% meat in them. Brighton bangers also included guiness and whole grain mustard. LUSH

I'm gonna check this place out at the weekend. In the market for BACON and a WHOLE CHICKEN for a roast. That's not bad, 9 BANGERS for £4.40.
