Tried to post in thread below, but couldn't, anyway...
Further to that post I believe it is a football league rule that numbers must be easy to read for commentators etc, which on stripes isn't really the case hence why many clubs (like us) have gone down the 'plain back' route.
In saying that would like us to return to stripes on both sides, and thought perhaps a better idea to put forward would be to do what we did in 1990/91 when we had a blue box around the number.
Would make numbers easy to see/read and I'm sure we as fans will be happier as we wont look like Leeds from behind, and will be proper Albion again
