SLOW DOWN!

I wouldn't think it would flash if you were driving towards it, think of all the compensation claims the police would get if it blinded you causing an accident.

yeah wouldnt have thought they would flash as could make you blink and crash but dunno how close you have to be when you get done, like almost up to it or a certain distance

If you are talking about the laser speed machines, they don't flash and can measure the speed you are doing whilst approaching unlike GATSO's which need the road markings and take a flash picture.

it was like a small camera on a tripod, with a man standing a few feet away at the side of the van, def not a road marking one.

no i didnt see the thing near our house when i nipped to b&q the other week. it got me going and 40 mins later got me coming back. yep 2 x £60 plus 2 x 3 points.

total £120 and 6 points in 40 mins. loverly. i wanted a bag of sand at £1.20, was in a rush because i had started to mix the cement and put too much water in. so needed sand to mop it up a bit.

 :censored:

they have been using a white van around doncaster for a while now. you know when you see all the camera signs on a street but there doesnt seem to be a camera? beware of the vans that occasionally appear.

I've seen them on Lewes Rd, very crafty, I expect they are more succesful thean the fixed ones as everyone knows where they are now.

Hang on a minute. Haven't we gone full circle here? Remember the ol days when coppers would hide behind trees with their star wars guns and then their mate would nab you just down the road?

What's the difference?

My favourites are the smiley face ones. You get a happy face if you are under the limit and an unhappy face if you are over it.

Now I don;t know about you but I always feel guilty and slow down if I get an unhappy face :(

If you do slow down as you go past, don't do a double V sign. You'll probably get done anyway for not being in full control of the vehicle.
