I’ve seen lots of fans trying to create an albion version of Allez Allez Allez . I know some say we shouldn’t copy other teams but to be fair this tune does sound great when sung loud so here’s a decent Albion version for Thursday;

We battered Potters Chelsea
And tore apart Man U
Then destroyed the scousers
And Palace we hate you
Allez
Allez
Allez

Nah…..there’s only one New Song (you need to be a certain age though)

I've been waiting for so long
To come here now and sing this song
Oh Don't be fooled by what you see
Don't be fooled by what you hear, whoa
This is a song to all of my friends
They take the challenge to their hearts
Challenging preconceived ideas
Saying goodbye to long standing fears
Don't crack up
Bend your brain
See both sides
Throw off your mental chains…….

We’ve Conquered all of Sussex,
We’re never going to stop,
From Hassocks down to Hastings,
We beat the f***ing lot,
Allez
Allez
Allez

I really hope our fans dont start singing any version of this song what so ever.

I don’t understand why fans don’t understand the best ‘new songs’ nominations, to really work, must have a tune known to every age group. For that it’s got to be something like a school hymn, Beatles, Beethoven or Bacharach cover…These stand a chance. No use picking your favourite song from side B of the latest The XX offering or like. People just won’t have heard of it. Good as it may be. Instead, choose a time honoured ditties that we all know. And remember, fans as a collective are incredibly thick. Need to keep it repetitive and as few words as possible - remember, people struggle with ‘Seagulls Seagulls Seagulls’ these day.

Some suggestions:

Humpty Dumpty
Skol 80s advert
Happy Birthday to you
Cantina Band, from Star Wars
I’d like to teach (the north stand to sing, in perfect harmony)

Have fun lyric masters! 😃

Tariq Lamptey got on the ball
Tariq Lamptey had a great fall
And all of Bloom’s coaches and physio men
Couldn’t put Lamptey together again

We're the famous Brighton
From Sussex by the Sea
Fa Cup Finalists
In 1983
First we were at the Goldstone
Homeless at Withdean
Now we're at the Amex
And in the Europa League (confidence)

Allez
Allez
Allez

Oooh, Tony do you know what he's worth?
Oooh, Evan you're the best on Earth.
They say for Evan, goals come first!
Oooh, Evan you're the best on Earth
Oooh, Evan you're the best on Earth!
Or to the tune of My Old Man's a Dustman:

Mitoma's a fast man,
He has some fast man legs
He runs at slow defenders
And hits the back of the net!

I imagine it starting it off slowly before repeating 2 or 3 times getting faster each time until it becomes an incoherent mess...
