The Albion Roar will be hitting the airwaves with its updated show on saturday night so once again we ask you send some stories or Albion related comments to our PM box or email address thealbionroar@yahoo.co.uk

We are particulary interested in getting an NSCer on the show saturday, the last show featured Biscuit and Muzzman.

So if you're not going to Bournemouth and fancy a laugh and a chat about present Albion goingson get in contact with us. Alternatively we can phone you during the show for you to talk to us about the Bournemouth game on your way home.

Albion Roar is internet radio and the show is recorded once every two weeks at the moment. So obviously it gets out of date pretty quickly. If you want to check out the latest show go to www.radioreverb.co.uk and click the link Albion Roar

Just to explain we only produce and record the show and have nothing to do with the maintaining of the website, which incidently is run by people who know nothing about the albion or football.

The site will only let ten people listen at the same time, so if you go to the site and can't hear anything its because its on its limit.

Please do not tarnish our show with the crapness of the site.

Come on people, we want your thoughts on the albion

Just another reminder that the new Albion Roar show will be recorded this Saturday and that we need your input about how the Albion are playing and club comments in general.

Send us a PM or an email to thealbionroar@yahoo.co.uk. Or you can send us your phone number, so we can call you from the studio and get your thoughts aired.

Thanks

Jonny

Setting aside for one moment the slightly agressive nature of his/her delivery, Reliant's comment is valid. If a member of your target audience, who has the potential to lend a more sympathetic ear than the casual listener, reports a problem you should listen and act accordingly.

If your host has technical issues that prevent your listeners from gaining access then it's YOUR problem. Distancing yourself from the problem and blaming your supplier harms your credibility and does not absolve you from blame.

*deep breath* It's actually your fault for not choosing a better supplier in the first place.

OK, that sounded harsh but imagine if you went into a furniture shop, bought a sofa and paid for it to be delivered. If the furniture shop has outsourced its logistics function then you're hardly going to accept the shop manager saying "It's not our fault the delivery company's van broke down" when your sofa doesn't turn up on the day it's supposed to, are you?

Assuming that you're just starting out, it understandable that you have teething problems but acting defensively won't endear more people to your cause.

Personally I quite like the show if that helps. Keep at it and don't be put off by moaning listeners. Sort the problems out and Reliant will be singing your praises and telling his/her mates into the bargain. Good Luck!

At the moment it's 10, but that will change soon when we increase the capacity. Online radio is quite different from regular radio, people don't listen for as long and the max time is usually 20 minutes or so.

So over the course of a day, week or month even, quite a few people get to listen to us.

As you seem quite interested in the station, please send us your thoughts on the Albion at the moment. The clubs situation without a manager etc.

Either PM us or email thealbionroar@yahoo.co.uk.

Thanks

Jonny

Firstly a deepest apology for my last reply which was somewhat cynical and scathing.....it was one of those days.

But the weekend is almost upon us:clap: the beer will be flowing:drink: and once again the Albion will don a football field and how we will rejoice at another three points and daylight between us and the clubs below us at the summit of div 2.

So if you feel like joining in with a bit of football chat whether it be in the studio or via a telephone get in touch with us by sending a PM or emailing us at thealbionroar@yahoo.co.uk

Cheers

Richie

Not looking good at Bournemouth coming up to half time. Why is it when we play a south coast derby we never play well. We are better than bloody Bournemouth, and we don't want to give Meridian and bloody south today a reason to diss us, which they always seem to

Come on you super seagulls :clap2:
