Has anyone got any reliable information about when the club are expecting to name the new man ?

Has the Argus got anything today?

The delay and uncertainty is now hurting us. After last night's debacle it's imperative we get a new manager in asap to give the players and the whole club some focus again, some direction.

There's no leadership, either on the pitch ( Cullip - what's going on? ) or off it. Last night, the players were running round at times like "headless chickens," no-one was prepared to calm things down and try and play - the way we all know this set of players can do.

We need a new manager NOW. I think the club should say something to re-assure us that things are moving regarding the manager's position. If this uncertainty is allowed to go on for much longer, with Booker in charge, I can see Stockport being another defeat and us starting to slide down the table.

I thought Booker was to be given 4 games! If that still rings true we should have a new gaffer by Sat.

Dont think we will though somehow.

Somewhat related from the official shite:

"One thing I will say is never write these players off. As bad as we've been tonight, and in the last game, never write us off.

People will be doubting me now and will be doubting the players. I don't see it like that. I have to come in on Thursday, work with the players and pick them up.

I was meant to pick them up for tonight, but they didn't perform for me. But, as I said before, never write them off. There's still a long way to go."

Sounds to me as though it ain't gonna be before the weekend as Bob's definitely talking as if he'll be in charge for Saturday.
