UEFA and the Prem have agreed that Prem clubs can loan players for short periods during the season to other Prem clubs.

Therefore Chelsea could loan Hasselbaink and Veron to Wolves for the period they (Wolves) are due to play ManUre and Arsenal.

Scope for fun and games!!

I thought this was always the case anyway.
Wasn't there a suggestion on here at the end of last season that Pompey could loan us a striker when we had matches coming up against Sheffield United and Leicester.
Of course, it never happened in the end.

I think it's always been the case in the Nationwide, didn't think you could loan to other clubs in the same division in the Premiership though.

Sounds good. With such a big squad, Chelsea could loan players out to every other team for a week at a time!:lolol:

In the good old days 'pre-premiershite', Peter Ward played for the Albion against Forest while he was on loan from the later. During that loan spell, he scored a last minute winner against Man-ure. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Oooooh what a celebration we had that night :drink: May have been a crap game, but we beat the Manx scum! :salute:

open for abuse id say though maybe its because 1st div clubs and below cant afford their wages, but it does appear daft what if they loan a player out and then that player plays against the team thats just loan him?
