New instructions to Refs?

The first time I saw the penalty of 10 yards for descent was at a game of rugby. Now it seems, after everyone went on about how rugby players respect the refs decision after the world cup, it has come to football.

Where have you been gloster? The 10 yard rule has been implemented for around 3 seasons now. You just don't see it much at Withdean.

We do now! They seem to be applying it more often!

It's only this season we've really seen it enforced. Chippys goal yesterday was aided by a Wycombe player not keeping his gob shut, as the ball was moved forward ten yards.

if they wanna open their gobs then they should get the correct punishment. the 10 yard forward rule is great as it is better than a booking coz it affects the whole team.

It's about time all footballers kept their traps shut on and off the field, and I'm including managers who think they're more important than the game as well.

The only change I'd make to the rule is that if those 10 extra yards take it into the area, then it should be a penalty.

That would shut the mouthy ones up.
