Not so sure about the title, but I am a miserable git sometimes.

Here is my pathetic offering....

From the ashes and embers
from heartache and pain
Came a dream, that we would once fly again

We endured trials and tribulations
Determined in Sussex to remain
We soared through the clouds, until we found sunlight once again

Were Brighton & Hove Albion
We stand or fall for Sussex, this we do claim
So cheer on the boys in Blue & White, were one and the same

You can tell I got a C in English, maybe Atilla (The legend) could tidy it up.

No rip-off absentee landlords
No crap stude chains to ruin your pub
No overpriced, pretentious grub
No begging crusties hooked on smack

No narrow streets clogged up with cars
No endless naff expresso bars
No pissed up blokes who fight and sing
No beer, no life, no...anything!
There IS a fort. Says ‘Open’. But
The gates are resolutely shut.
New Brighton. That’s a good idea -

I've worked in an office with somebody who used to play for Brighton, and had been in my sister's class at school.
Now we've got a player who's won the world cup.
It's genuinely unbelievable.
