Nebosh General Certificate Advice

I know this wont apply to most on here...but if you have this qualification or any other Nebosh style could you help me.

I am looking to gain this qualification on my return to the UK and was wondering how people found it to be?

I can either do an intensive 10 day course for just over a grand.......or pay £500 quid and have it over 20 weeks

If you have taken this course...how was it...did you do it over a long period or bang it out quick?

Any advice from anyone who has taken the course would be appreciated.

I passed the NEBOSH general H&S certificate about 4 years ago.

I did one week on 1 week off and then 1 week on again. You then go back in on the monday of the 3 rd week to sit one 2 hour exam in the morning and another in th afternoon.

Its very intense as they pack a lot in on each day and you need to put in a couple of hours each evening as there is no real time to go back over anything.

So basically if you put the effort in for 2/3 weeks, you'll be ok. Some of the lads on my course took it a bit easy and suffered badly on exam day. But ain't that always the case.
