The Dyke Tavern is a traditional old Brighton Boozer and is frequented by Michael Jayston. And on one glorious occasion Michael Campbell a near Neighbour of mine.

The Dyke Road Tavern is awful. Dark, smelly, you stick to the carpet, there are more builder's bums on view than the Wmbley building site and it is on a busy corner with the delightful Tesco Express in view. I would rather walk into Patcham or even go to the Sportsman than go into the Dyke Road Tavern.
