Good that. Thought the beautifully orchestrated defensive dash out to catch Derby offside from the last free kick of the game, deep into in injury time, deserved a mention too though. Anything that gets Poyet applauding hands above head has to be pretty special.

Agree with gthat Hungry Joe - should have mentioned it as it was one of the moments of the game. I wonder what would have happened if the flag happy lino that side of the pitch had not slowly, ever so slowly raised his flag? I thought the other moment of the match was Buckley racing back into defence and clearing the ball off Sammon's foot virtually on the penalty spot. Think I might introduce a moment of match para to the blog in addition to the alternative man of the match.

Actually their manager and half the team who were constantly in the ref's ear trying to get spurious free kicks and complaining about Albion tackles, time wasting and anything else they could trump up to winge about!
