I think the advert you are referring to features:

"Pictures of Matchstickmen & You" Status Quo - personally I prefer Camper Van Beethoven's cover version on their 'Key Lime Pie' long player

YES! i noticed that too(sounds vaguely Oasis/Stone Roses?).It's superb, i even e-mailed Gordon's to find out and unsurprisingly haven't heard a thing.
I'm also trying to find out the Ford theme music for their trendy ad on currently.
What might be an idea is for you to leave tel no: 2580 tapped in to your mobile ready to dial when the ad comes on.Hold the phone to the telly and it'll text you back within 20 seconds with the name and artist.

You're getting confused.That is a Samsung ad and although it's Death In Vegas it isn't the Gallagher tune it's 'Hands Around My Throat'.Great tune though as is the rest of their album Scorpio Rising.
