Murray battled well and showed good signs, he lost 6-3, 7-5 which was pretty invietable but he did himself proud with a battling performance against arguably the greatest tennis player ever.

just saying on the radio that this should help him get a good few wildcard invites - should do him the world of good. He's showed a few issues with stamina over tournaments so skipping qualifying will give him more ooomf when playing the big names - he'd made the top 100 early in this tournament and if he keeps delivering will soon be in the top 50
