Daytime TV is full of old american detective shows like The Rockford Files and Quincey. It's so unfair that I have to work.

Why no Petrocelli though? Excellent theme tune if nothing else and, from memory, he lived in a static caravan - Pikey!

Jim Rockford lived in a static home in 'The Rockford Files' as I recall Kugull. There's been some top quality tv on this after - documentary on the Cockleshell Heroes at 2.30 followed by 'Country House' on BBC2 at 3pm. My back's fugged from lying on the sofa, remote in hand. Salad days.

Been seeing the odd bit of daytime TV recently. Murder She Wrote is obviously total twee toss, and gets turned off about as quickly as Trisha, Kilroy, Fern and 'Pip' Schofield, and anything with Roger Black in a hospital. Then there's the regular diet of over-sentimental US shows like Dawson's Creek, Judging Amy, and that other one about a wuss of an idealistic lawyer. The jury is firmly back in on these, they're utter crap.

Thank God for the Cheers double-headers on Channel Four. Easy to forget how good they actually were.

I'd agree with just about all of that Tooting, although Cheers is still Yank wank and the only reason I tune in is to marvel at Ted Danson's wig/s, surely the most convincing syrup you'll ever see.
