A friend of mine in Kentucky has the ultimate in nightmare people. He's a survivalist and keeps disappearing into the woods with his arsenal of weapons.

Last week he came in, got in a row with someone and returned brandishing a rifle saying that he was going to shoot everyone. The police came and disarmed him, but this being America, let him go again and gave him his weapons back.

He now tells his former workers (he's been suspended, as has the manager who bailed him out) that he's going to get them. My friend sleeps with a gun under her bed.

Can understand that, currently we rent while we look for a suitable house but across the road from us is the aunt of my wife's ex-husband. This woman is a lunatic who has called the police on us 10 times in six weeks. The latest was for my step daughter setting her dog on the woman (the dog concerned is a puppy). We've had the DEA here too as she told them that we're selling drugs here.

She receives a welfare cheque as she is mentally unstable, she also has a gun and a license for it too. Crazy or what ? Seemingly the Police cannot do her for wasting their time or harrassing us. The fact that she's unbalanced yet legally has a firearm doesn't seem to matter a bit.

Maybe if you faced a situation where having a firearm would save lives you may change your mind. Problem is in this country people have been dumbed down and are then lefty fodder, it'll take something a bit bigger than the norfolk one to sort peoples heads out.

I must say that I am rarely ill. I even come into work when I have period pains (shock horror)!

I have only had 5 days off work in 3 years and those 5 days was when I had a serious car accident and had severe whip lash. I even got to wear one of those sexy neck braces.

Well, my wife has a licensed .38 revolver from her days of repoing cars (yes she has been shot at). I have purchased at our local flea market, pepper spray, mace and a taser that shoots out two probes with a 300,000 volt charge. These are all perfectly legal in this state.

Doesn't make it right though does it ? I cannot understand how obviously unstable people can legally own weapons.

Bloke who got promoted about a year ago - he was a good laugh but now he's a complete jobsworth - and always sucking up to the boss (goes out with him 2/3 times a week). BUT - it's my last day today so I don't give a flying fcuck!!!!!
