Does anyone know why they have to be so f***ing annoying? I woke up to it this morning wanting to kill myself due to the high pitched shrill that my phone was making. It's like a woodpecker with a steel beak pecking away at a meal pole but just scratching it. It's horrible.


Surely it's possible to create a noise that doesn't make you want to jump out of the window in the morning?

Isn't that the idea though Chappers, that it wakes you up and gets you going? If it was a nice pleasant noise it would be too easy to just lay there and enjoy it for several hours.

I've got a most amusing Mosque Alarm Clock (not on my phone obviously). It's made of shitty green and gold plastic and wakes me up with a very loud call-to-prayer.
