Baros has always been a quality player, he was class in his first season at Liverpool. Then he was sidelined through injury, and Houllier being Houliier didn't want to play him after he recovered.

I think this really sums up just how badly England have f***ed up. There are teams doing the business now with players who can't get regular games in the premiership. With the cream of the crop we really should have done better. One of Greece's best players has been Zagorakis who couldn't get regular football at Leicester!
