Have we really offered £50k?. Would have thought that would have been more than enough to sign him!.
Better bet than Holroyd l would have thought.
We have offered £50k for him as far as I know. This was like 10 days ago though.

Maybe the reason he wasnt on the Portugal trip was simply that we were waiting for a reply from his club.

I believe the Norweigan season is ongoing. His club wanted him back to play a game for them, he was only on trial with us during the break. Now we have to decide whether or not we want him back.

i think this was down to the same insurance policy minutiae that wouldn't cover whingy.
i.e. we will not pay out in the instances of acts of god, terrorism and strawberry blondes.

His club had a break in their fixtures because the team they were meant to be playing went out of business ! Hence his week with us on trial.
Didn't think much of him from the 45 mins at Eastbourne I saw, but he might be worth a £50k punt I suppose, being as its not my money.

Bognor. In which I thought he looked pretty impressive, as he was getting some good service until the youth team came on. On that evidence I wouldn't mind us spending 50k on him. So it's obvious how initial impressions can differ depending on which 45 mins you saw!

He wasted a decent chance at Eastbourne, firing wide of an unguarded net (well, I think there were a couple of players on the line but the keeper was nowhere).
45 mins is no time to form a proper judgement though obviously. And 20 of those were with the kids.
