Micky Adams has hinted that he could leave his job as Leicester boss after their poor start to the season.
The Foxes lost for the fourth time in the Championship at QPR on Saturday, with David Connolly collecting the team's third red card of the campaign.

"The discipline side of the club has gone haywire. I'll have to change it or somebody else will have to.

"If we keep shooting ourselves in the foot, either I sort it or somebody else will," Adams told BBC Radio Leicester.

Leicester, who were relegated from the Premiership last season, were among the favourites to bounce straight back.

Either I sort it or somebody else will

But they are already nine points behind leaders Reading and star striker Connolly has only found the net once.

He did that with a superb strike at Loftus Road but after his dismissal the Foxes let slip a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 in the last minute.

Adams, who took over as Leicester boss in April 2002, added: "I suppose people will say there is a long way to go.

"But if we keep getting ourselves in winning positions and do what we've done, there is not a lot I can do about that."

Leicester hould stick with Adams. This is the first time since being with the club that he has had a bad time of it. The Board need to give him some cash IMHO.

sounds like he's fishing for a vote of confidence, or else a "came and get me" plea to some other/bigger clubs.

Encourage him tonight, if you see him. Failing that, he can come back and help us out ;)

wont do him any good to quit, cant see it happening myself as I'm sure he is stronger than that. Maybe he was hinting at the fact he may get sacked soon!

It's a kind of reverse psychology that Micky used to good effect a couple of times while he was here. Most notably after the Kidderminster game in the Div 3 Championship season. Afterwards, Micky took the unusual step of calling the press into his office (the only time he ever did this) and there was a distinct feeling amongst them he was going to resign.

The players picked up on this, had a team meeting, cleared the air and had a bonding session one night on the town. I think we went ten games unbeaten - even then we were unlucky to lose at Chesterfield - and kept eight clean sheets in a row during that run.

I hope this works again for Micky, as he's a top man - once again underlined by the following.
