In charge of our first Premier League game. Never really liked him to be honest but I guess he can't be worse than some of the absolute dross we've had in recent years.

It'll also be interesting to see how often the retrospective diving bans are enforced this season

Oliver makes mistakes, as all refs do, but his game management is impressive. It's never about him. (Famous last words.) Bobby Madley is good too.

Was the recipient of plenty of praise for his refereeing last season. Gets on with it, deals with errant players, but lets it flow where possible.
