I personally think he's one of the better ones. Talks sense.

Have listened to him on 5 live for the last few years, glad to see him on BBC

Hes quite a nice bloke too, managed to have a few beers with him during the Euros last summer. Once he gets going he is an absolute animal though, and his 'chaperones' were doing their best to keep him out of trouble.

Anyone that's better than Stan Collymore is a bonus. I listened to a bit of "Stan the man" yesterday on Talksport, and on more than one occasion, Sam Whatsisface would ask Stan a question, to be greeted by silence. I think at one point he said he was too busy tweeting something about Arsenal dropping their tempo. Shortly afterwards, the Gunners scored.

He also said something like "Stoke should bring on a Jermaine Pennant, or a Peter Crouch", which irritated me. As far as I know there are only one of each in the Stoke squad.
