Dear Sirs,

Could you possibly possibly try and coach the players in training on how to pass and move.

Having watched all the home games this season it is evident that the opposotion allways play around us with short passing and players moving to the receive the ball. In fact they seem to play in triangles, I seem to remember being taught this as a school boy, maybe we should try this in training?

We seem to be always trying to hit killer balls from across the pitch or from deep which are normaly intercepted by the opposition who then mount yet more attack passing their way through us.

I also observe that the opposition coaching staff are constantly up on their feet urging their team on and shouting tactical instructions where as you seem to dissapear and become totaly invisable. Please could you get involved on match days a little more and try to lift our players and the fans by showing at least some sort of passion.

If you don't think you can manage to do any of the above could you please leave now and take the rest of the back room staff with you.

:salute:

Did anybody notice that both Carlisle goals came from moves that have obviously been worked out on the traiing ground, Could we try to invent some moves and practice them and as an added bonus could we play a standard 4-4-2 with wide men and pick 2 from Forster Davies Andrew to start and the other one on the bench to come on if like yesterday we needed a goal or two.

Do we actually scout opposing teams? We also seem to play into their hands every week.

We desperately need a grown-up defender at the back to calm things down a bit and direct the play. Somebody needs to tell the kids it's not enough to aimlessly clear yer lines as a form of attack, or back-peddle furiously as a means of defence.

No we seem to hoof onto their heads everyweek....it would be nice to see the team actually pass the ball properly....its the one thing that was good about Wilkins teams they actually passed rather than hoofed.

According to MA at the fans forum pre season he has brought his old mate Glenn Cockerill into do that job which according to him he is an expert at, with a great football knowledge and wealth of experience,MA words not mine.

Oh dear! Well he obviously is either not very good or our management ignore what they are told or arfe not able to translate the information in a way the players can understand.

Can we move the ball around quickly? - North Stand Chat

Been the same all tossing season

We genuinely play better football at the park in a small area than they do on the pitch.

He should have gone around Christmas, it was evident that he could not improve the players we had or organise them in a way to grind out results.

Instead he was given more money to bring in more players. I was all for giving him time once we made the new signings at the end of January but after the Perterborough and Carlisle games it is evident that they are still un organised and have little football ability even thow the squad is even stronger. Simply Adams and Co need to go now!

We were never a footballing side first time round with Adams, we were organised and had Zamora up front and a decent supply from Watson. This time round he is uncapable of putting out an organised side with any sort of game plan.

In the games we have done well in this season the players probably raised their games and got the motivation from the oppostion we were playing not from the management. (Man City, Leicester and Millwall)

I wish McGhee, Wilkins, and Taylor were allowed the resourses Adams has had this season.

You must be joking
Hmm, well they certainly weren't free flowing attacking football, especially in the second half of last season, but our game did tend to be based more on ball retention than hoofery.

to be fair, Wilkins was given some money... oh and look where we ended up last season.

its time Adams walked before being rememberd as the managers who got us out of but returned us to the basement division

I think the standard of football is probably more annoying than the results and that is why people see so little hope.

We've been in worse positions but usually there's a glimmer of hope ans some 'do or die' spirit but, 29 games in and there's still no tactic other than hoofball and it's hard to understand just what they do in training all week.

Wilkins had his faults but he was a student of the game and kept trying new tactics. There were times in his reign, when Albion played some delightfull football.

Why can't we play some slick, flowing, football now?

nobody's dupe you seem a knowledgeable football fellow so tell me what can us ordinary fans do about the current situation - absolutely nothing. I have sent an email to the club expressing my views but no doubt that will be binned in the rubbish bin as being from an idiot fan but at least I feel better that I have expressed my view to the club.
