It does demonstrste though that we are always on the back foot as far as the P.R. battle goes. 'Empire' is I'm sure not the only Albion fan who swallowed the Meridian story whole and immediately felt that the club had been lying, covering up, etc and thus had some explaining to do. If he can think that on the back of one scurrilous piece of journalism what do the non-Albion fans think?

Job done. Fortunately I don't think there's going to be any long-term damage.
