Just noticed London Coca Cola is on tonight, and flicking through my Sky Other Channels noticed Meridian Soccer Night is about to start.

A better look at the penalty? Has anyone seen it....

Harding was unlucky - he went straight in front of him.

50 / 50 penalty but never a booking

JESUS CHRIST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly Meridian didn't even mention Brighton as one of the South East teams they would be covering in the new season (But mentioned Bournemouth)

Anyway - Just seen the 20 seconds highlights from Plymouth

THAT WAS NEVER A F*CKING PENALTY - NOT IN A MILLION YEARS

Didn't even touch him...

Meridian is a pile of crap. It covers a 50 mile stretch from Portsmouth in the East to Bournemouth in the West and goes as far North as Southampton. I have also heard it goes as far South as Franklin on the Isle of Wight. So if you want Brighton to be covered then forget it.

Having watched last night it did not tlook like a goal or a booking - impossible to see if it was a pen, but looked as if the guy just ran in front of Harding and went down - at worst it would have been a tangle of legs, but never a dive in or booking.

Totally agree!!
Better sign the Plymouth forward up for our diving team at the forthcoming olympics!! Must have a superb medal chance with diving like that

In fact, Steve spoke at length about the Albion, he "prayed to God" we get Falmer and spoke with a lot of affection about the Albion. Mentioned Reading here and there too. Top bloke in my book and always will be.

Covered the goals from Reading and the Plymouth game (never a penalty and the first "goal" did not seem to cross the line). Jimmy Case also talked about he Albion, Falmer as well as all the other clubs. Another top bloke.

Apart from the obvious gaff at the outset when they mentioned everyone from Bournmouth to Southend except Brighton, not too bad.

Newbury, Berkshire.
I thought the format was a bit of a mess, they were jumping all over the place in an attempt to make it a ' magazine ' style show.

They also need a decent soundman, because the audio quality kept changing. Meridian, if your going to interview someone, it's usually a good idea to pin a mike on the interviewee, so that we can hear them properly, not point a dodgy boom mike at them !

Oh, and bring back Andy Steggal.

Too much ' presenter chatting to camera '. In fact the presenter just wouldn't shut up at times - his questions were more rambling than Garth Crooks on the beeb. Less chat and more highlights required.

I'd give it a 6/10.

Glad I at least got to see the "incidents" again from Tuesday night.

NO WAY was that a penalty - I don't think he even touched him - quite good to see the way Kuipers and co had a go at Wootton aswell for going down like that.

However, I do think the Plymouth goal was justified and the ball did cross the line :(

Reckon we could have got something though if Harding hadn't been sent off.

Meridian should sort out their coverage. I live in Haywards Heath in the 'heart of Mid Sussex' and get Meridian from Kent which shows Gillingham. When I lived in Burgess Hill we got Meridian from Southampton with Fred (Portsmouth)_Dineage.

I am told I need to buy a booster aerial to receive Meridian that covers Brighton
