Wow, massive story there tonight on Meridian sport. Reading have re-seeded their pitch although the groundsman interviewed admits that they have not done anything different this close season than any other even allowing for their rise into the premiership.
Great stuff Meridian.

Tomorrow night a report on the painting of the gate nearest the away fans at St Mary's.

Ah South East man are you ? Maybe a mention on Southend's new advertising hoarding in the north west corner of the ground.

I have from someone through the grapevine- and please don't ask me to reveal my source, because I won't - that they have re-seated the tap in the away end toilets.

Not sure, but Gillingham seem to have shares in the company. I think the studios are based in Maidstone, so that would probably explain it.

The Shrimpers scenario is still a fair shout though... even The Cherries get more coverage than us, so that throws all regional logic straight out of the window.

If Griffin Park is supplied by Thames Water, then maybe some serious sprinkler coverage may be lined up ?

There's a big folding tower crane thingy outside of St Mary's, next to the famous statue of that Master Bates chappie. Expect a major news report soon.
