Merging threads

To tidy up the Board and make it easier to navigate why don't the Mods take a collective decision to merge threads on the following into one for each topic:

AMEX catering, AMEX train services, Bobby Zamora, any member of the first team squad named individually, Ultras, new songs that only about ten people are interested in, rumours about new signings or new singings, Gus, Mauriccio Nigel Adkins and Sam Allardyce.

This is just a starter list so if anyone agrees, feel free to add your own suggestions.

To be fair every time I have suggested thread get merged they have been. A quick PM to an available mod or using the button bottom left and the threads are joined.

Yes this works well. We may have discussed Bobby Z eg numerous times, but I don't think it matters covering the same ground. Conversations in real life are often on familiar topics, but are never quite the same.

My suggestion is that we have better things to do with our time than trawl the 4 million posts looking for common topics. If something is clearly a duplicate then we will do our best, but very few people look beyond the first page of NSC.

We do respond to PM's and reported posts though as a rule.
