At AITC we're committed to helping support men's mental health, and we think that football is one of the best ways of bringing men together.
That's why we run the More Than Football programme - providing free football and a time to talk for men aged 30-50 across Sussex.
More Than Football uses the power of football to help tackle mental health issues in men. Mental health can be a tricky subject to broach, especially for a lot of men that age, but adding a football into the mix plays such a big role in breaking down barriers and helping people to open up.
At More Than Football you will meet friendly, like-minded people who love football just as much as you do. Each session includes a small-sided game of football and a sit-down session with AITC's qualified coaches, opening up a group discussion and helping the group support each other.
We currently have groups in Brighton, Hastings, Billingshurst, and Bognor Regis, but new groups are popping up all the time. (Our Brighton group will be meeting for the first time tomorrow - now's the perfect time to sign up!)
