that it's his fault that we lost.

" We should have got a point and the reason we didn't is much to do with me because I should have made a change."

Too right, and the change was to remove David Lee from the starting line up because he is plainly not good enough. If Piercey is fit, he is a much, much better option.

Oh and also, I think Harding is a great propsect but best tell him to stop trying to be too clever and beat a man before distributing the ball. He gave possession away rather a lot deep in our half towards the end.

Oh and the referee was absolutely abysmal too.

Rant over.

well everyone makes mistakes, he will have learnt from this.
the end result hasnt destroyed our promotion hopes, so it could have been worse.
we lost 2 points at plymouth when Coppell didnt make a subsitution, oh and that donkey Henderson didnt go down for a penalty and prefered to shoot for glory.....and miss

Hopefully draw a line under this unfortunate belief that David Lee is a talented footballer.

I agree with DCLD.

If we must play Lee McGhee should have realised he was rubbish and taken him off. Or can we only afford to transport 12 players to a game?

Piercey or Reid or Hammond or McPhee or anyone should have come on at some point.

I can't really see where he could have changed things. Within five minutes of the restart we'd lost the midfield so it wouldn't have made sense to go 4-3-3. Piercey has said before he doesn't like playing on the right - and as a result won't perform if put there - and as far as I know neither Hammond or Reid play there either.

Although Wednesday threatened the second goal all half I think with ten minutes to go McGhee was prepared to risk it. Can't really have a go at him for that.

Agree with everyone else that says David Lee should never appear for the first team again.

but will he be saying in the Argus at the end of seaosn the reason we've palyed cr@p for large parts of the season is coz he cant get hte best out the players, plays hte long ball to little leon and he is a hopeless manager?

I think it's quite refreshing to have manager who is not blind to his own mistakes. Given that he recognised the error yesterday he is less likely to repeat it.

Nice to hear a bit of honesty from a manager rather than the usual whinging and bleating from professional excuse merchants such as Warnock and Allardyce.

If we don't go up I think he'll say the reason we played crap for parts of the season is that it took him a little while to get to know the team and therefore know how to get the best out of them. Then he'll say that we can fully expect to go up automatically next season.

Every one around us was shouting for a change in the 2nd half. Why couldnt Maghee see it?.He gets paid for that.We were under the cosh in the 2nd half and needed a change in midfield badly. He wont make a sub unless we are losing it seems.
