Not sure I will go in there for food ever again after watching the Uk premiere of 'Super Size Me' last night. It was a documentary about the effects of fast food.

The bloke ate McDonalds breakfast, lunch and dinner for 30 days, had to eat at least one of everything on the menu and couldn't refuse super sizing the meals.

Very true there bad for you but who the hell is stupid enough to eat it all the time for every meal, apart from the expense, tahts about £12 - £15 a day!!!!!!!

I've fast gone off these too. Our next door neighbour tells me they put chicken fat in the milkshakes to thicken them up, the fries are reall rusks not proper chips and the apple pies are made from apple flavoured turnip !
Dunno where she found all this out, but it's put me right off the milkshakes (I could always take or leave the other stuff, anyway)

If you eat lots and lots of fatty food you get fat.... very true. To those bashing mcdonalds,

food quality - imagine how much scrutiny goes into mcdonalds food. There's zillions of independent fast food restaurants, kebab shops, hotdog vans and the like with awful food quality. McDonalds food quality is good.

globalisation - if you don't like it, fine (neither do I). But why does McDonalds always get the rap? What about Duracell, Gilette, Philips lightbulbs, Honda, Kawasaki, Canon, Bic biros, Marlboro, Head and Shoulders, Pantene, LG, Fuji, Heinz, Kelloggs, Cadbury, Nescafe, Guiness and lots beside which is all freely available here in the middle of Borneo?

exploitation of workers - or freely available normal wage jobs for people who want them?

Destroy the rainforest - all European McDonalds use European beef, US McDonalds rainforests use US beef. Noone asks where anyone else gets their beef from.

The only use I have forMacD onalds is for when I'm caught short in a strange town. You can usually guarnetee clean hassle free toilets.

lets put it into perspective they are not healthy they know that and we know that but if you any type of food all month you are bound to be. ill or have some health issues
