Totally dull topic, but i've just bought a virus scan package off www.mcafee.co.uk and the bastard won't download properly. It gets to about 60% and then crashes. Has anyone had similar experience or think of a solution? There must be a few computer experts out there!

mcafee has been a pain in the arse on my laptop. it keeps on coming up with 2 windows saying the download deadline for an upload has expired and would you like to purchase it. it never goes away and gets on my TITS!

I had a free trail of McAfee Virus Scan when i got my computer, however as soon as it expired I downloaded the free version of AVG Antivirus. Its always up-to-date, catches anything suspicious, and best of all you don't have to pay a penny!

The latter two just clean up after users mistakes. If you have the first three you don't need the latter two.
