I willingly paid the tenner to sign up to maxim for two years and regret every penny I spent. The magazine is complete and utter bollocks. I flicked through it once, saw nothing of any interest and threw it away. I wouldn't have thought it would be possible to resent spending 46p on a magazine but I do!

Apparently the joke page is intentionally unfunny - but that doesn't explain the rest of the mag. It's shocking.

I did a trial a while back at 1p per issue for three issues and felt that it was 3p badly spent. Truly a terrible magazine

Unlike the very classy and grown up Jack mag (which has just gone tits up). I had a sub for the duration and it never failed to amuse me. Good current affairs articles, like the old 60's Playboy stuff. Also had a more "mature" level of T&A, for more high brow lechery.

BTW, I'm going to Ibiza for 2 weeks, in oooh, about 12 hours. Lovely.

Maxim is indeed a load of shite. Flicked through it twice and was amazed at how little there was of interest. Even the birds weren't that fit. A disgrace.

Not like the old days of a lads mag, where you could actually sit down on the throne and read something.

The old adage "You don't get anything for nothing" must have been coined for Maxim.
