Indeed. He has a reputation. Someone posted a video of an awful 'tackle' he made when playing for Banbury Utd a couple of seasons ago.
Also the posts from the Crawley numbskulls last night indicated that they know he's their hard man who likes to dish it out.
Absolute scum

They never publicise these things . The other aspect is we may need to sign someone urgently now and don't want the team we are buying off to know we are desperate.
Most probably too early for a scan anyway. Will have done an x-ray, perhaps, but for a scan they likely need to wait for swelling to go down first.

At some point they will give an indication of how long he's out for

We're not desperate.
Indeed. Everyone seems to think his absence leaves us short in the sitting CM roles - but Hürzeler chose to play him last night, behind the striker (with Ayari and Baleba in CM) - a position where we are ludicrously well stocked (Joao Pedro, Rutter, Enciso, Gruda...). We'll cope.

If WBG goes, we are fairly desperate in central mid. Unless we are happy with a lower midtable midfield.
WBG hasn't gone.

If he does go, and Wieffer's injury turns out to be longer term than we thought, O'Riley is out for the season, Gruda turns out to be not a PL player and Milner's old legs finally collapse, then we will be desperate. But as none of these things have happened, we are not desperate.

It seems as if the transfer of WBG is dependent on Napoli selling Osimhen which implies that we aren’t accepting their derisory first offer or anything close to it. They need the money to enable them to buy him. Could that happen? Yes, but not a sure thing.

....or, force the hand of Miami and get Gomez in now instead of January... he is a box to box midfielder who could neatly fill that void whilst MOR recovers.

This is what happens when you put thoroughbreds up against donkeys. He chopped down Enciso five minutes later.

Most of my family are Celtic so I've heard about O'Riley for a while, just so sad we may not see him for a bit now, hoping for some luck of the Danish Irish and it won't be too bad
