Hello

Just a quick note to let you know about an event I am organising in Brighton.

On the 29th October, the biggest and best fireworks and music event will be taking place.

The venue will be at Preston Park in Brighton and promises a fun-filled evening of family entertainment – including fairground rides, fancy dress competitions, food and drink outlets, and Heart Breakfast show presenters will be live on the big stage entertaining you throughout the night.

And if that’s not enough, special guest stars CHIPMUNK and BLUE will be performing LIVE at the show!

Double MOBO award winning Chipmunk will be performing his smash hits which include ‘Oopsie Daisy’, “Until You Were Gone” and the recent hit with US artist Chris Brown ‘Champion.’

Alongside Chipmunk are the legendary boyband Blue. Following their Eurovision entry, Duncan, Simon, Lee and Anthony return to the live arena performing their classic tracks, all of which spent many weeks in the Top 10.

The evening then culminates in an amazing Spooktastic fireworks display set to your favourite spooky tunes including music from Harry Potter, Fantasia and Thriller.

Gates open at 5.30pm with the stage opening at 6pm and live performances on stage at from 6.15pm before the fireworks at 8.15pm.

We are offering a limited amount of family tickets available at just £25 – a fantastic £9 discount which includes 2 adults and 2 children standard admission– but book now because once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Regular ticket prices are £10 for over 16s and £7 for 3-15 year olds. There is no charge for under 3s, although due to the volume of the stage and firework display we would not recommend this show for children under the age of 3. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult – with a maximum of three children per adult.

A limited number of exclusive ‘Golden Circle’ tickets are being made available in an area directly in front of the stage. If you want the best view of the stage and you want to be up close and personal to the fantastic acts you must book now! Tickets are £17 for adults and £15 for 3-15 year olds.

Book tickets at More Music Variety - Heart Sussex Radio 102.4 & 103.5

Its a great way to finish half term with the kids and thought some of you might be interested.

Standing by for the slagging off from some posters!!! xx

Thanks Steve - its been a long time in the planning - quite difficult to get events off the ground in Brighton but I think the family audience is lacking sometimes in events. If anyone wants more proof of the events I have done, look on Youtube at last years fireworks event held at Brighton Racecourse with Olly Murs - I organised that as well

Nice of them to tell me. Oh, it doesn't matter. They don't have a job for me anymore.

Don't count on seeing a Line Manager, Park Ranger or Park Manager until the actual day (if then)? They are apparently banned from making a public appearance. Their appearances are rarer than Rockinghorse shit and I am still waiting for refills of fire extinguishers, 3 months on from a fire that I put out (along with two gardeners - none of which are paid to put out fires).

Council Tax = Money well spent :jester:

Am supposed to meet with a man with the initials 'AG' to get the keys - BTW - am bringing all fire extinquishers, fencing for the plants etc plus full cleaning team booked for the following day to restore the park. Its a fenced event so no rubbish will escape x

Doesn't bother me. I am well rid of the shoddy organisation as of 30/9. They can kiss my ass, but they would have to leave their confounds and down their cups of coffee. Not likely.

Edit: Actually it does bother me as people pay through the nose for the public services and what do they get in return?

Dont worry - I am paying through the nose for everything - I can assure you all that nothing in the park is free, no services are free and we are getting nothing for free. No council tax is going on this event I can assure you of that!!

You learn something new every day! I never thought Blue were like that (although I must admit that Lee Ryan looks like he could be a bit of a scallywag if I'm honest) :)
