Martin Rowlands & Lee Cook

A colleague of mine who is a QPR supporter tells me that Rowlands and Cook are likely to be released by QPR, with Brighton being a probable destination. Both are seasoned Championship midfielders, Rowlands being an RoI international.

They are the sort of players we should be looking for to add some experience to the squad. Players who have been there and done it in The Championship for a few years, but at a club like QPR, they are going to be surplus to requirements next season in the Prem.

Personally, I was thinking of Shaun Derry, despite the Palace connections.

Not entirely convinced by Rowlands as an option although I think Cook does fit the bill - boxing fans on here would be pleased as his cousin is James DeGale
