Definitely!! I peaked around 8400 points. But now it is pretty much unplayable online with the general populace because of the f***ing CHEATING ***** who play. I did an online battle a moment ago, and was hit on coin runners by NINE blue shells in a row. What a sad bastard you'd have to be to cheat.. Down to around 7300ish now.

How are people cheating? Are there some sort cheat codes or action replay type devices going round?
I might be up for a game this evening, haven't played for a while.

There are hacks people have made, and that you can download and put on your Wii. They are basically hacked input codes (I think some you please 1+2 together to summon any item you choose)..

You can also tell a cheat because a) they have more than 8000 points solidly, which is very difficult to do anyway and b) they will always have the best items even when leading the race/winning the battle and c) they will have and use items before you even have a chance to reach an item box.

Add your code on this thread:

and then save the url somewhere so you can add more people as they put their codes on it.

Not sure if I've been added by anyone yet, but have put most of them into my friend list.

I don't know how you join friends for races, either, so perhaps an idiots guide could be added to the codes thread, someone?

You join other people pretty easily

if you just want to race against your friends, you need to "create a room" Once you have done this, it will show up on any of your friends screens when they go online.
All the friend has to do is, click on join room I think.

The person that creates the room then selects the type of race etc


Or if one person is online and playing a worldwide or continental race, it flashes up on your friends roster thing and you can click to join them. It means you are playing your friend and lots of random people they have been randomly linked to via Nintendo

I tried the latter, and it continuously says "Unable to join friend. Please try again later" - and as I only have added one person to my list, and he's already racing, I have to wait for him to exit the races to see that I've created a room... right?

Sometimes when someone is newly added, you have to come out of that WFC thing and go back in, then it shows your new friends are online and let them join you

If your friend is already racing then you can click on join friend when you go into the friend roster, once their race is over, you can join their next one

i got "join freind" thing when jc was in battle, joined the battle, then jc left. Hadn't done battles before, so was unknown quantity.

Im up for a race if u r JC, i'll go set up room now and u join.
