I have wondered about this for a while but the Calderwood moved has prompted the post.
Arguably the manager and his team are more important to a club than any player. What is the logic of limiting the period when players can move club but placing no limit on management changes? Shouldn't a club have to live with its decisions and accept the consequences?
Having a manager transfer window may also limit the knee jerk changes that some clubs seem to make as a matter of routine.
